.Out with the Old, in with the New.

Sometimes last minute parties, make the best parties. One thing, well a couple things, we will do different next year is to make sure all the "House" chores are done prior to the day of a the party. Levi and I were running around from 7am-7pm getting everything cleaned and set up. It was well worth it tho.
We had plenty of food, Relay Races, a little game of Musical Chairs (quite hysterical actually with adults), Bingo, White Elephant, S'mores, Fireworks, Kinect and of course ringing in the New Year.
Looking back, 2011 was probably one of my favorite years yet. Bought a home, went a cruise, Hawaii-twice, Alaska, California, plenty of weekend getaways, brother beat cancer, sister adopted the most perfect baby boy, parents came home from their mission, went through all the ups and downs with fertility, and grew closer as a couple.The trials and experiences we've had have only made us stronger.
Looking forward to 2012 and the new years resolutions that we have yet made....whoops!!

You know when you were a teenager and would drive up to Sunrise at the crack of dawn, snowboard for the day and drive back home in the same day?? Well, apparently we still think we can play like kids.
The snow was ok, but better than Utah's snow so I guess we can't complain!!
Levi got to test out his GoPro and helmet he got for Christmas. Hoping for some more snow here in AZ soon so we can go again!!

T'was the Day before Christmas Eve, there was no "spotting" in site, but still seeing a negative didn't seem right.
The morning of Christmas Eve came at a surprise, we saw a positive and there was not 1 dry eye.
We celebrated and prayed, for giving us such a wonderful present on Christmas Eve Day.
We were so head over heals, that it almost didn't feel real.
Christmas morning something was telling me no, and within a couple of hours I was in full flow.
So onto round 4, a new Doctor we are seeing, we hope to not have anymore grieving.
It will all work out, so we better not pout. Everything has it time and right now it's not mine.

I went Red. It was only for 2 weeks, but I did it. I had a love/hate relationship with it however. Levi loved it, i actually did it for him and surprised him in Vegas when i flew in. It was so hard for me to get ready, to find colors that I felt comfortable in. And my blonde hair came through so quick. I would probably need a touch up every 2 weeks to keep it up. I look back at pictures and miss it. Maybe since now that I am brunette (yes, the blonde came and went in a couple of months, my hair just couldn't handle it) going back red someday will be easier. We will see...

.National Finals Rodeo.

I'm not an actual cowgirl, but deep down I dream of living on a ranch and riding horses everyday if I could. So until then, rodeos will have to do:) The NFR in Vegas was a few weekends ago so we decided to book a very last minute trip with the Lindbloms and go! I had 3 Glitter Parties I had already agreed to, so Levi drove out with our friends on Thursday and I flew in Saturday early afternoon. It was a fun quick trip!

Back in October Levi and I went to Hawaii to enjoy some "us" time and spend time with my sister and her family again. Since we were just there 6 months prior we didn't feel rushed to cram everything in. This trip was perfection. We did everything from exploring caves, snorkeling-every day, running on the beach, shaved ice, Road to Hana in the freezing rain, naps on the beach, gelato that was way over prices, collecting sea glass, swap meets, magic shows, and actually not getting burnt this go around!

17 Months

Update:

Since my last post, we had discussed trying another IUI, we had to check on insurance and see what we had available for the remainder of the year. September and October were no-go's for another IUI due to bad timing on trips, not the end of the world. So we went ahead and did our 2nd round this month.

And to my surprise, our insurance covers 100% of IUI's!! That made a million of my worries go away, knowing that if my body can handle it, I will keep doing the IUI's as needed.

-Fast forward-

Black Friday. Didn't go as I had hoped it to and Aunt Flow came back for another visit. DARN HER!! I really wish there was an easy blood work test or teeny tiny camera inside of me that could figure out why my eggs and Levi's swimmers won't be friends. I had 3 eggs ready for action this month and Levi had way more little active buddies ready to go this around. Sheesh...some day soon, they will make the best of friends, I can just feel it!

This whole experience has brought Levi and I so close, closer together than I think any other trial would have brought us. Heavenly Father knew we could handle this, and even tho I may or may not have been extra extra moody this past month, I know that Levi still loves me. And I love that I have something to blame my craziness on;)

Every month feels almost like a slap in the face when Aunt Flow comes, I can't help but just to remind myself there is always next month. And the less "pity me" I do, the faster I recover. I try my best to not let this over take my life. I have had my ups and downs with the current Doctor's I am seeing {ok lets be honest, I am switching Doctors in January and will be going to the same doctor my sister went to next year if our insurance is still as great as it is right now} I am confident that they know what they're doing and that I will have a baby when it is the right time. I just feel that this new doctor I will be seeing will be able to give me more answers, and I look forward to knowing I will be seeing the same doctor each visit instead of 1 of 3 doctors.

I was talking to one of my sisters last week, and she helped remind me that we just need to choose and be happy. Life is so much more fun that way. Sure you can get and be mad, but why? If you can choose how to feel, why not choose to be happy and just assume the best out of every situation? As hard as that can be, I am up for the challenge!

Although I almost bailed on going the morning of, I am so glad Levi and I decided to join my boss and some of my co-workers on the annual work trip down to Rocky Point the middle of October.

This was from last year. I lacked on pictures then and I lacked on them again now.

This time of year is perfect in Mexico, the weather isn't too hot and the water is the perfect temp. We ate a ton, got a lot of sun, walks on the beach, sleeping in, chasing down the mango man every day on the beach, Thrifty Ice-Cream, staying up late playing card and dice games, and best yet no cell phones. It was just what Levi and I needed. Oh and for the record, Rocky Point is totally safe right now.

The Summer Sales Crew is back!!!

So what did we do to celebrate? We traveled of course! (minus a few friends that were deeply missed)

I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends and to have the opportunity to travel as often as we do.

This trip we traveled to ALASKA. Goodness me was it pretty. To escape the repulsive AZ heat and to dote on 6 days of crisp air, fishing, hiking, wearing scarves, playing cards till midnight, sipping apple cider and sitting by the fire. We had this trip planned for 7+ months, and it could not have come at a better time. It perfect and much, much needed. Jon's parents own the Glacier Bay Country Inn in Gustavus Alaska (a short 20 min jumper plane flight from Juno) and were nice enough to have us 4 couples for 6 days.

We all got our own cute little cabins to stay in. Breakfast was every morning at 6 or 8am (depending on if you went fishing or not that day), lunch is provided out on the boat or for whatever excursion you may be doing that day. And dinner was at 6pm in the lodge. I ate like a QUEEN every night, dinner was scrumious!

The boys went fishing 3 different times for Halibut. Us girls went once, and we didn't do so hot...I apparently don't do well on small boats in rocky water-whoops! But it was my first time fishing and had a blast for the most part. The other days that the boys were out on sea, us girls went out for lunch, hiking, exploring in the Arctic Cat and took 4 hour naps. It was perfection.

We came home with plenty of Halibut and I cannot wait to indulge!!!

This girls did a little hike to see an Air Plane crash that happened in the 50's. It was pretty interesting to see that just about all of it was still there.

.Peculiar Baby. {7} -IUI-

14 months.

We have been through quite a bit the last month and half with all of this. Dr. Moffitt had me come in to have an ultra sound done where they inject iodine and make sure there is no blockage anywhere. Check! Passed that one with flying colors.

That next day I started clomid, and luckily I had no funny side effects which is always a huge relief.

Later that week they had me come back in for more blood work and to check how many eggs I had (basically to see how I responded to the clomid). Check! So far, so good!

One week later, I went in and Dr. checked my eggs once again, I had 3 (the 4th was almost there, but not quite the size as the others, that's ok tho), they were a perfect size, Levi's test came back perfect, so on "paper" there is no reason why we haven't gotten pregnant in the months past. So the doctor approved everything for an IUI and said "Let's get you a baby!". I cried, so anxious, excited, scared, nervous, and all of the above. Finally we are getting closer.

That same night at 11:30pm Levi had to give me a trigger shot in my belly. Fun for him, not me.

2 days later at 8am we had to be in Phx. Levi's appointment was first, then mine was at 9:30. The nurse was the one who performed the procedure, who we love, and were totally comfortable and confident with her. She explained to us that they only need 5 million swimmers to have this done, and well...Levi had 9x that. Hoping one of those 44 million will find it nice and cozy up there! The procedure went great, not too many side effects besides headaches every day from the hormones I have to take daily, twice a day.

Then the waiting game...
Longest 2 weeks of my life.
Sadly...it did not take this round and we are not pregnant.
Yesterday all I could do is think about was us being parents. I went to lunch with 3 of my best friends and one of them turned to me and asked if I was ok. I told her I was just sad, and as soon as she said "I'm sorry", I completely lost it. She held my hand while I cried harder than I ever have.
I felt numb for the rest of the day. Cried a few more times. Took a 4hr nap. Sipped on some Diet Coke. And cuddled up to Levi while watching movies.
I try my hardest to not think "why" and to just remember there is a time and a place for everything. I know my Father in Heaven has a plan for me. We are going through this trial for a reason, for what I do not know, but I do know it will only make us stronger and closer to Him.
This month I will:
Have a clearer mind.
Attend the temple more than once.
Ask Him more of "help me to understand" and less "why".
Start training for a Sprint Triathlon.

We were considering attempting another IUI in November, but we may wait until next year. The last 14 months of "trying to time" everything just right has been a little overwhelming and exhausting. And even tho people always say "you get pregnant when you're not thinking or stressing about it", I have a feeling I will never not think about it.
I have to go in for more blood work later this week to check my levels. I have no idea what is next, but I know everything will be ok.
So until we do go in for another IUI, I will become a better me. Spiritually and Physically. No more excuses.

My Levi graduated!!! I am so proud of him. Doing online school isn't the easiest thing with working full time and he doubled up his classes the last 6 months. He worked so hard and did so great! Congrats babe, I love you!!!

Every year my family goes to Carlsbad for the 4th. They camp, for an entire week! This was mine and Levi's first year going. We found out last minute that I had work off and that my friend had an extra site that we were able to buy off of her. We were quite a ways down from the rest of my family, but nothing a little long board ride couldn't handle. It is such a fun tradition that my family does every year. Levi and I already have a list of things that we plan on doing doing different and bringing for next year. And Levi is certain that we will get a beach front campsite next year:)

My parents finally are home! Those 18 months were the quickest and longest 18 months, can I say that?? I am grateful to be their daughter. They have been amazing examples to all of us and I love them so much!

My brother Spencer (who beat cancer while they were gone) his 4th, but 1st little girl Roxie who was born half way through his chemo treatments, and my parents!

My niece Mykee is probably one of the most inspiring teenagers I know. I don't know if I had it in me when I was 15 to work as hard as she does to achieve what is most important to her. What she sacrifices for what she loves most is amazing to me.

She is 15, going into her Sophmore Year of High School, taking 7 credits each semester (4 of which are honors).

She is the 1st counselor in her Laurel/Mia Maid class.

She dances 7 hours a week at her studio and is in Senior Company, which is the highest and oldest level.

She teaches dance during the school year 3 hours a week at her house (and does a recital at the end of every quarter).

And she is on her school dance team and has anywhere from 1-4hrs extra rehearsal every week.

The most amazing part about all of this, she is a straight A student and pays for EVERYTHING!! Her dance tuition, her competitions (and costumes), her clothes, her cell phone, and everything that she wants to go and do with her friends.

Do you know many 15yr olds like her?? Because I don't. She really is a best friend to everyone she meets and is a bundle of joy to be around. Always positive and upbeat, and works hard to achieve her goals.

In order to keep up doing what she loves most (which is dance if you couldn't tell) and continue to be in her Senior Company at her dance studio, she has been babysitting like crazy to pay for everything! I even recently hired her to come clean my house, and let me tell you...she worked hard for her money. She even told me to be honest with her and to make sure I was happy with everything and boy was I ever!!

She is an incredible babysitter. Kids are drawn to her and love her. She has 3 weeks of summer left and is trying to get as many babysitting jobs as possible before she goes into full speed mode.

She does a Kid Day Camp once a week out of her home. You drop your kid/kids off for 4hrs, pay $15 per kid, and go run your errands kid free!! In those 4hrs she teaches them a cute little dance routine, takes them on a picnic to the park for lunch and then takes them swimming!

It's been one year...sigh...never did I think that I would be that girl in the friend group who had a difficult time getting pregnant, never. I've been healthy my entire life, never have I taken anything to harm my body. So to find myself in this position is so weird, but I am totally ok and at peace with this whole process. I promised myself from the get-go that I wouldn't be "that" girl who complained and cried over not being able to get pregnant as easily as some, however I am human and so I have cried myself a few times and have had to leave a baby shower or two early because it just got too hard for me. I have an amazing big sister to look up to and go to for any questions and advice during this whole process and that has helped me out so much. Every day I want to be more like her.
What's been happening: I have been taking Fermara for 6 months now, with no luck. I told myself I would give it a good solid year before going into a Fertility Specialist. I called at the beginning of July to make an appointment thinking it would take me oh a good 2-3 months to get into Dr. Moffitt at ARMS, but lucky for me they had an opening 9 days later. My big sis had prepped me for the first consultation, which I was very relieved she did or else I am sure I would have been crying like a baby and more emotional than I already was. Her information also helped Dr. M know what type of test he wants to try and run first.
The 1st Initial Consultation: Levi and I sat down with Dr. M in his office for about 45minutes, going over different options. The best case scenario's and the worst case scenario's. (To be honest, I wasn't ready to hear the worst case, so I let that go in one ear and out the other. I figure we will cross that path if needed and prep for it at that time.) After the consultation he did a full exam to make sure everything was good and healthy before continuing on with future treatments, I passed with flying colors-phew. We will be starting with the basics, as I expected. I have a procedure that has to be done on a "certain" day of the month, which just so happens to be tomorrow, (sorry boss for the last minute notice) along with blood work. Levi and I both have to take antibiotics tonight and tomorrow morning, for what reason I am not sure of, but they said it puts us one step closer, so I said okay! Then after my procedure tomorrow, I will go in again in about 2-3 weeks to have more test done, ultrasounds and blood work. (That is of course if I am not preggers)
After leaving Dr. M's office I felt very reassured and hopeful. Knowing that everything really is going to be ok. The nurse had a lot of information to tell me and paper work to read. She also reassured me that I don't have to memorize everything, and that they will go through step by step with me at each appointment so I am never feeling confused. Those 90minutes were like a job interview, you go in so anxious and nervous that when you leave you can hardly remember what was said! At least that is how I felt anyway :) Luckily Levi was there for everything and has a better memory than I do. But that is also why I feel that it is important for me to write about it, so I can remember and help others go through what I am going through.
I know there can be dozens of reason on why I haven't been able to go pregnant yet. We have checked everything off the list that we could have done and that is why we have chosen to go see a specialist. The awesome thing about this whole process is tho, I know without a doubt that it is 100% the Lord's timing. Some may say that they will just let nature take it's course, and that it totally fine. But for me, I feel that Heavenly Father put these incredible doctors here on earth to help us learn and grow through these hard times. And to help us find answers. I have learned a lot the past 12 months and have been so thankful for every trial that has been put in my path. I have an incredible husband who is so loving, positive and supportive through it all.
I have a 100% chance of becoming a mom, and that to me is the greatest blessing to look forward to. (Thanks C&C for that)

My main Man is 30!!!!! And boy does it look good on him! I love him so much. He really is my right hand, my better half, the one who helps calm me when I stress out for no reason. And he is just darn right funny and the sexiest man I know!

I really lucked out marrying such an amazing guy. He knows just how to push my buttons and make me laugh at my craziness minutes later. I grow from him every day. We aren't perfect by any means, but we fit each other so well. Nothing stresses him out and it drives me nuts, because the smallest things make me go crazy. He keeps me so grounded and reminds me everyday to just breathe. I love this man so much and can't wait to spend eternity with him.

Levi has many, many great skills. One of them being Softball. He has been playing with the same team for 5 years now and every year they compete in the annual Memorial Day Softball Tourney up in Showlow/Snowflake area. It's always a nice excuse to escape the "Valley" heat too.

We were in the C league this year (the team sorta did it on purpose...) which made it a lot more fun

for everyone. And the fields were right next to where most the team was staying. Score!

Two Out Ralley ended up taking 1st, CONGRATS GUYS!!!! Double Score!

A fun fact for all of you: Levi was born in Showlow, lived there till he was 2, and this street was named after his family. Even tho they spelt it wrong, it's still a pretty coo littlel fact!

.What I Want To Be When I Grow Up.

Where did this number think it came from? 25, ME?...really? Weird...I am officially a Grown Up.

What I thought I would have accomplished by this age: Had a baby or be pregnant, traveled to England/Europe (that has been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl), been a YW leader long enough to go to Girls Camp with them, and learn how to sew drapes, pillows, skirts, etc...sigh...

But even tho the above things have not happened-yet-I still have time. I have accomplished so much and I really am grateful for everything that I do have. I am in a good place in my life and feel at peace with the knowledge that everything will happen at the right time.

What I would life to accomplish by the age 26: Complete a sprint triathlon, sew my own drapes, pillows and chair covers for my house, make my own skirts, continue the tasks needed to have a baby, and have trip planned or have gone a trip to England/Europe/Greece/ANYWHERE over there! All seem pretty do-able to me, right?

Ok lets get to the good stuff, what I did to celebrate my new old age!

My bestfriend Lyss and her husband live out there and were ever so kind to let Levi and I come crash with them for the weekend. It was the best birthday, year.to.date. It really was perfect! Homemade Birthday Breakfast. Gifts from the lover and bestie. Lots of text/FB lovin. A day well spent in The City. Getting my first and last rosary from a Street Bum. Gorging ourselves with many tastey treats all day long. People watching. Shopping. Trolley Riding. Dancing. And to top it off, Lyss gave Levi and I a night in a Hotel-my personal fav. Her and Owen stayed there as well so we could continue our city adventures the next day. (thank you iPhone for being so handy and documenting everything)

(about a month prior to my birthday, we had a little 12 hour layover in SF where we did a lot of first time Must Do's. I would have to say that has been my favorite layover I have ever had)

When is the last time you logged onto your cell phone account online and viewed the old pictures that you some how saved from 5+ years ago? Well if you haven't done it in awhile, you might want to go check them out. It gave me a pretty good little giggle. Pictures from nieces and nephews before they were teenagers...sigh...college days, old boyfriends, girlfriends that I haven't seen in years who are all now married with children, and old pictures of my cute, toned, tight little body that I miss dearly. But to top it off, some awesome pictures of me being a dork and geek beyond belief.

Sleeps 6 adults comfortably with plenty of floor space for little kiddos to sleep! They also have a queen size areo bed that is super comfy and could accommodate 2 more adults or older children

Body boards, snorkeling gear, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels

They have a 2009 4 door Jeep for you to use that seats 5 adults

The complex has a pool, Jacuzzi, bbq and work out room…all with ocean views!!!

Close to restaurants, shopping, SHAVED ICE (you need to have shaved ice every day while vacationing here!), grocery stores, and miles of beautiful sandy beaches

$225 a night!!!

They are in Kihei, which is on the south side of the island. Dates available to rent are June 28^th – July 15^th, so come stay the whole 18 days or come from June 28^th – July 7^th and they’ll have another family come July 7^th – July 15^th. Has this ever happened to you? : Got to talking to someone and then once they finally told you their name you get giddy like a little school girl and just start jibbering and couldn't stop?

Totally happened to me over the weekend. We were at Cortate looking at couches and this girl comes in changing her mind on the fabric she ordered for her couch (totally something I would do, that's why we are waiting till next week to make our final decision since I am the worst at buyers remorse!) Anyway her, Levi and I got to talking, figured out she's in my sisters ward and then she hands me a business card because she re-does furniture. And as soon I read her blog address the giddyness overcame me. It was like for me meeting a celebrity. Haha, Levi got a kick out of my reaction.

It's true, we are OFFICIALLY home owners and could not be more excited!!! It's a whole new feeling of being grown-up. {if that's what we should even call it!} The home is perfect, fits us to a T, and there is no fixing up needed! The original home owners left it in the greatest condition, thank you H and S!! We will probably paint a few rooms, replace the carpet in 2 rooms {maybe...} and that's it! We however own nothing...so let the couch, bed, dinning room tables, area rugs, decor and kitchen table hunting begin!! I am so excited to unpack all of our boxes and put our kitchen together, since that's all we really have...sad! Our savings for our home is going to dwindle rather quickly I feel...oh well, that's the joy of it! One room at a time :)

Wow one blog post last month, really? Well I guess the title speaks for it self then...

It's true, we've been "Trippin".

We spent 10 days in Maui last month and ever since we've gotten back my life has gone in

in extra fast forward, times 4 (just like our DVR).

Anyways, back to Maui!! My sister moved there in February with her husband and 2 boys.

They have a cute little place, 3min walking distance from the beach, 2 jeeps and

pure freedom. They are living the life and we were able to get a tid bit of the

life they live. Ahhhh.....

While checking out the turtles, Levi decides to jump in to take a closer look. Cool, right? We apparently

were standing on top of a cave and in that cave was a shark, I've never seen Levi swim faster!

We also went and saw the coolest blow hole! But my laptop hates me, (the feelings are mutual) and the pictures wouldn't rotate. How I long to use my MAC again....

Twin Falls Hike

We went down to Kam 3 almost every night to watch the sunset, eat the best pizza or BBQ, throw the frisbee and watch the whales.

10 days very well spent. If I could do it all over again I would. So Hills and Ry, if you're there at the end of this year, we might just be back!!!

(I had so many other pictures from the trip, but again my laptop hates me...and I had A TON on my iPhone and a recent backup deleted everything I had, I am pretty upset about it and missing those Hawaii pics very much so.)

If live somewhere in the valley, you know exactly what this means.

You were also probably just as devastated as I was when they got shut down.

So we decided to have them come to our backyard, cook up their carne asada and all of their goodness

so we could invite all of our friends, plus some!

Let's be honest, we knew maybe, MAYBE, 1/4 of the peeps that showed up!

We think well over 200 people came.

The wait was an hour for the food at some point, but totally worth it. The Potato...Mmmmm....

Don't worry, if you missed out we'll be hosting it again later next month, or in May.

And yes I do regret not taking more pictures of the delectableness that I gorged myself with for hours!

Two years and counting

I never thought being married would be so much fun. I am so lucky to be married to such a great man. He truly is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and he really makes being married soo easy and more fun than I could have every imagined! I feel that we are living the early years of marriage to the fullest. Going on vacations together, serving each other and learning more about one another every day. I love my husband more than I thought I could love anyone. And I am looking forward to the memories we will continue to make for the rest of our lives and to have a family together some day.

About a month ago we attempted to take a Sunday drive up to 4 Peaks to go play in the snow.

Unfortunately there was an accident on the B-Line and our drive ended about 20min into it.

So 2 weeks ago we made the attempt again, with much success! I hadn't seen mister all weekend

because he was at Mountain Men for Scouts. We took the truck and drove

all the way to the top of 4 Peaks. (minus the 3mile hike up to the very tip top)

This time, knowing there wasn't going to be any snow to play in, I planned a picnic.

Cheesy...I know, but it was so much fun to use our picnic basket that we've had

since we were engaged!

It was so nice to have it be just the 2 of us. We've both been so busy lately, so any

chance we get to be US, with no cell phones or tv, especially up in the mountains, I'll take it!!!

A couple weekends ago we got the opportunity to go snowboarding with our friends in Durrango, Colorado. Chris and Mysha's sister has a place right there on Purgatory Mtn and it was goregous. I never thought in a million years thought I would get to stay somewhere that you literally walk out the door and you're right there, ready to board! And to top things off, best snow we have ever boarded in. Going through the tree's and back country in powder up to your knee's, making new tracks, and having it be soundless with every move you make. Peaceful really.

Mister had Valentines weekend all planned and kept it a complete secret the entire time.

I am so proud of him. And maybe for the 3rd time in a our marriage, I didn't figure out what the surprise was!

Alexa, Darryn, Lyss and Owen were in on the surprise the entire time.

Props to all 5 of them for keeping their lips zipped tight!

We were "supposed" to go to Scottsdale, but ended up driving a few more extra hours and ended up in Huntington! Our fabulous friends {who really are the best of the best} let us stay with them once again!

We went to Disneyland, California Adventure, the beach, and time together.

After Susie and Bill got married, they rented out this massive home up in Flagstaff for the entire family to go up and spend some time together for a few days. I think this was the first family vacation we've done since I have been a Yeager and I loved every moment of it!

The adults (minus Scott and Jana, plus Jordan) went snowboarding on one of the days. It was a blast! The snow wasn't the greatest, ok it was horrible, but it felt good to go riding again. We spent a majority part of the day in the park. Less crowded and the snow was a lot better. Me, thinking I am still young and careless, hit the 2nd hardest box there was. And as I was coming to the end, I freaked myself out and wiped out so bad. I hit my shin, like a double hit. It's still tender and there is still a bump. In result to hitting my shin, for some reason my entire foot and ankle went purple, black, green and blue the next week and stayed that way for a few weeks.

The trip was a blast and I loved getting to spend time with everyone in the same place, with no where to go. It was so great!

Grandad Orr & Grandma Roxie started celebrating this day over 50yrs ago by cookin up some tasty Ground Hog and inviting all of their neighbor's and ward members over for breakfast every.single.year.

My parents continued on the tradition when they got married and have not missed a year since! My childhood is very blurry to me for some reason, except for Ground Hog's Day. My parents would invite everyone they knew over and easily 100+ people came. Even if they didn't get an invite, they would still know where and when to come! {Open door policy} I would invite friends over {Hillary and Allison were the first that I can remember and came every year}, go to school late every single year and now I even ask to come into work late. I mean come on, it's GROUND HOGS DAY!!! Hello...Owens National Holiday, duh!

I don't know about many of you, but sometimes I have a difficult time with trying to

be creative with dinner. We try to eat as healthy as possible so I try my hardest

to use as much fresh produce and less "canned" items.

One thing is for sure, we try to stick to a budget with groceries, I hit up our local Ranch Market for our produce and stock up on meat when it's on sale and also get it from Costco. A

bag of chicken last us at least 2 months! As well as the fish, we just separate it into 2 servings.

And cooking for 2 is nice because Mister and I are both able to take lunch

to work the next day! {We don't mind left overs}

I do wish I had more time on my hands to truly study over

every ad and price match everything. Sometimes I think that actually might take up less time

then hitting up 3 or 4 different grocery stores every Friday morning! But then again, the ad's don't always

have every single item that is on sale each week. Or do they and I am just that dumb?? And I do try to avoid Walmart. I know they can have everything, but I like to support my local grocery stores. So if that does means a little more time, fine by me!

Anyway...onto our Dinner Menu for the next week! I thought some of you

I went in and saw Harriet today. Oh Harriet....she is something else.

And you know what, I liked her! A lot!!!

She is all about your body's frequencies, reflexology and helps you understand what makes your hormones, organs, and levels all work. My father-in-law is into this kind of natural medicines, and I totally believe it!

She first applied pressure on all my pressure points on my feet. Telling me to let her know when it hurt. It only hurt on one are of my foot and from there she knew exactly what was wrong. She did a few more test and we talked about what is going on.

Well...basically none of my hormones are functioning correctly. My liver is over working, I have hardly any calcium, something above my pituitary gland that is supposed to release hormones isn't, because like 3 other things in my body aren't functioning correctly. And breathe...

So she gave me 4 different types of drops to take, 3 different herbs, and 2 creams. Sounds intense right? It's not really. Hearing her explain everything made total sense. But you know what hit home the most and made me almost cry??

She was doing a frequency test on me and said "Oh wow...{looks up at me}, how did you do in school growing up?" I said "Horribly, I had the hardest time comprehending and focusing". She could tell and said this is something I have been battling with for over 15yrs. {Which makes total sense bc I started struggling in elementary}.

Anyway, at the end of my visit I felt totally and completely relieved and reassured. She also told me that the reason my prolactin level spiked so high and went down so quickly is from stress-imagine that!

I am to take everything she gave me for 4 months {some for only 2 or 3}. And I am to NOT get pregnant in the mean time. I do not have enough of everything to supply the right nutrition for myself and a baby to keep us both healthy. So no need to spend money on fertility pills any more ;)

I will stay consistent with everything Harriet has told me to do and have faith that everything will work out. I am going to be okay, and I am going to get myself healthy {well the parts inside of me that are not} and I will carry and have a healthy baby someday. But that day is not today, and will not be tomorrow either. And I am 100% okay and at ease with that.

If any of you would like Harriet's information, let me know. I have 100% confidence in her and have heard she has helped many girls get pregnant. She also said I was her 3rd client in this week with fertility problems, she knows her stuff, I'm tellin ya!

Levi and I had the opportunity to take our third cruise together within a year. I feel like one lucky lady getting to do so. This time, we went with some of our bestest friends. We have such a great group of us and wish everyone could have gone! Our cruise went down to Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas.

The weather was nice, too cold to lay out, but still so beautiful! The boat rocked...a lot...and I think either because of the boat rocking or from me actually not being on the go go go 24/7, I slept..a lot...Our friends all joked with Mister and I saying that they've never met a couple that sleeps so much. Whoopsie! We like our sleep and naps when we can and we're usually too busy to get much of either of those!

Our first port was on Puerto Vallarta. Not much to do there but walk around. We did find 1hr massages for $32. They weren't too shabby either! {my sister Christy is still way better might I add}. We ate lunch at a local taco shop and the guys there tried getting us to pay way too much for our bill. Luckily Levi knows his spanish as if it was english. And it almost got him into a fight because he is able to talk back so quickly. eeekk!

Our second port was Cabo. We went to Lover's beach for a couple of hours, walked around town and had some amazing virgin mango and pina/banana colada's!

I didn't want to take time posting a weeks worth of pics one by one, or even a few in a collage here and there. So you get to enjoy them in one BIG collage! No order, no reason, just our fun weeks adventure!

I had my appointment with Dr. B this morning. You ready for this?......EVERYTHING is fine! Woohoo! No tumor and get this, my prolactin level is right where it should be! I don't understand why or how it lowered itself within a week from each blood work I had done, but it is what it is. So, why I haven't gotten pregnant? It just isn't time I guess. Why I am having headaches, who knows! I will admit I was a little bitter after leaving his office today, Mister was there so I had to hold in my emotions until I got to my car. And every emotion went through my head. I am relieved that everything is okay, but I was hoping that there was something there and it being the reason why I wasn't getting pregnant. But really, it is okay. I am fine and hopeful for what is to come down the road. There are other options that can be taken and more doors to go through. This is a trial I have been given, a trial to learn something that I need to learn. Now, more than ever, I am leaning on the Lord to help me get through this. I will be a mother someday, but now just isn't that time and I am at ease with it.
Dr. L has given me some medication to take to help me get pregnant, and now that my prolactin is where it needs to be, I can take it. I also am going to see Harriet. Harriet is a naturalist. I know my body is a little off and I am not myself and I know that she can help me level everything out the natural way. I have heard nothing but good things about her. So if you have been to her or know someone has, I would love to hear from you!

I bought this darling for $75 and put $20 into it. Not to shabby if you ask me! It's not perfect, but the flaws add character right? Best part, it only took me 3 days to do it (probably could have been done in 2 days, but I wasn't in a huge rush to get it done that quick). It looks pretty dang cute in my parents house right now, but can't wait to get it into our future home some day. I am itching to re-do another one too! Branch out to other colors. Maybe a Navy one? hmmm....decisions decisions...

January 14th, 2011

My appointment 2 weeks ago at Dr. B's office went great. He basically gave me the same information as Dr. L and ordered the same blood work. Ehh...What's another needle? I had my MRI 2 days ago. That machine was loud, but don't you worry, I was still able to sleep...that isn't a shocker to those who know me well :) I have a follow up appt with Dr. B a week from today where we will review the blood work {the new tests that were taken} and the MRI of the brain. It's getting closer. I am so very excited.
Thank you all so so much for the positive response and feedback I have received from all of my family, friends, and readers. Your prayers and thoughts are felt.
I know getting pregnant can take anywhere from 6-12 months, if not more, and that we've only been trying for 5 months. I understand that. I have had a few people remind me of that. But here are some facts on what's going on why I am so grateful with where I am at with all these test and doctor's visits:

*I have not been on birth control for 17 months
*I have not ovulated in at least 8 months, but have regular periods. So that's why I went to my OB, Dr. Layton, when I did.
*I got into Dr. Biesbroeck within 24hrs of when I called to schedule, it should have taken 3 months to get in. Huge blessing.

Everything has happened so quickly, life doesn't seem real right now. I am so fortunate for Mister. He is my rock. He has helped me become who I am. My best friend and eternal companion. I couldn't imagine having to go through any of this without him. I have been so humbled in this short amount of time and feel that this experience will only help Mister and I grow closer to the Lord and grow stronger as a couple together. He is everything I've got.

Freezing is the most difficult part of that game for me.

Mister and I decided to do this for at least a month, maybe 2. (minus trips that have already been planned...whoops)

No clothes. No accessories. No decor. No pampering. Only the necessities.

As most of you know, my Christy and her husband Chris are on the quest of finding their children, through adoption. Just this past weekend they got their letter in the mail from LDS services that they are officially certified to ADOPT! I am overly excited for them. That process is sure a long one and they made it!

December 28th 2010.
I slept horribly last night. Not because I am worried, or because I am scared, but maybe because of the "un-known" and having to wait so long to get more of an idea of what is next. I was told to call Dr. Biesbroeck's office first thing this morning. Knowing that it would take up 3 months to get into him (or hopefully sooner with one of the doctors inside of his practice), I knew that having to keep all of this information inside of me for so long was going to tear me up inside. But until we have a better idea of what is about to take place, there is no reason to tell many people about it. Especially when I wouldn't have more of a lead for another couple of months.
Dr. B's office didn't start answering phones until 9am. I wasn't able to call until 9:30. The lady who answered the phone was in for a real treat. I spoke to her as if she was my friend. I basically gave her the skinny on everything that Dr. L gave me last night. Bless her heart, she probably didn't need to know all of it. I am trying to keep my voice down at work while talking to her so none of my coworkers over hear anything. Of course she asks me who the referring doctor is and specialty, and as soon as I say OB all my coworkers ears perk up! Expecting to hear from her that the soonest I could be seen was in March, she surprises me with the greatest blessing. She informs me that someone called in and cancelled just a few minutes ago for a 11 o'clock new patient exam tomorrow morning. I wanted to cry, or jump up and down for joy knowing that my prayers were answered last night. Dr. B's office will have Dr. L's office send over the lab work in time for my appointment tomorrow. As far as the MRI on my brain goes, Dr. L's nurse, Kim, will have to get approval from my insurance first before sending me somewhere to have that done. (Kim sounded very shocked with how fast I was able to get into Dr. B. And yes, I speak to her like she is my friend also. Bless her heart) Since I will be in Dr. B's system, getting a visit with him after the results from the MRI come back will be easy to get into (as if being seen within 26hrs of my first phone call wasn't easy enough!). My boss has been very understanding of this and has given me the OK to take off whenever I need to, to get into these appointments. So thankful for that.
Having this appointment scheduled so much sooner that anticipated, I feel a lot more at ease and more willing to share it with others. The first people that came to mind were my parents. I want to wait to tell my siblings until after my appointment tomorrow to hopefully have more informative details to share.
Talking about this is something personal, but it also is very therapeutic for me. Sharing this is a burden being lifted off my shoulders. I know there are other people out there (some within my own family) going through more difficult times than this seems to be. But my entire life I have kept a journal, and writing down my thoughts and feelings is one of the best ways I've been able to get express myself.

{Mister and I have been trying to have a baby since September 2010, and these are my journal entries on our experience with the process of wanting to bring children into our family. Please feel free to read, some posts may be long, like this one, and some will probably be shorter. I wrote this entry on December 27th 2010, but wanted to keep this information between the 2 of us until we had some results from the doctor's}

December 27th 2010: Your dad and I were eating dinner tonight at the Biltmore called Deluxburger's. As we were finishing our meal, your daddy got a phone call from an un-known number {we usually don't answer these} but for some reason he did. The gentleman asked to speak to me. When asked whom it was he said his name was "Dr. Layton".

Dr. Layton is our baby doctor that we saw just 4 days prior on the 23rd. We have been trying to get pregnant for 4 months now and have not had any luck. Dr. Layton asked us a lot of questions and gave us advice on what we could do. Lucky for us, we were already ahead of the game with taking some at home test, and with me documenting monthly with specific's, we were able to give the doctor information needed to go to the next step. He gave me a prescription to take for 4-5 days once a month for 3 months {or until I got pregnant} and ordered some blood work on me for 2 test and sent it to the lab. With it being the Eve before Christmas Eve and a busy holiday weekend ahead of us, I didn't expect to hear results for at least a week. Well, lets be honest I didn't expect to hear results period because I thought the prescription would work just fine!

Back to tonight: your dad hands me the phone and Dr. Layton informs me that one of the test I had done came back unusually high. It was my prolactin level. Usually in order to get pregnant, it needs to be at a 17. Mine was at a 40. {women that are pregnant can range anywhere from 2-200 on their prolactin level, I am 100% for sure not pregnant}. Dr. Layton suggested that I get an MRI done on my brain because there is a high chance that I could have a benign tumor {non cancerous}. He wanted me to start on Bromocriptine asap to help lower my prolactin level, but because I have such severe and frequent headaches, he needs to wait and get the results back from the MRI and see the possible size of the tumor. I also have to go see a specialist, an Endocrinologist, who will evaluate the MRI and brain tumor. Most likely, he will have me start the medication, bromocriptine, that Dr. Layton suggested. That is the best case scenario and what your dad and I feel that will be the outcome. Getting into the Endocrinologist can take up to a month or two and since I cannot start taking the bromocriptine until he gives me the OK to do so, we then have to wait another month to start trying again and then start taking the prescription that Dr. Layton gave me 4 days ago. So we are having to wait another 2-3 months to get pregnant.

Back in September, your dad and I were in NYC, having a trip of our dreams! It was then that we decided to start trying for you. In October a friend and I had it all mapped out and were going to try and get pregnant at the same time {which we would have been only a day apart}, she had better luck and was able to get pregnant on her first try. Your dad and I are so excited for them to welcome their first into their family summer 2011! I didn't get my hopes up and continued to try the next 2 months. Late November came and went and still no luck. I had a little knocking going on in the back of my head to go in and see my doctor. You have 3 aunts on my side of the family that were able to get pregnant pretty easily, and then 1 aunt {Christy, who has had a hard time and will be adopting oh so very soon!}. So I made an appointment just to see if there was anything extra we could get help with by the doctor. Your dad probably wouldn't have been able to be at that appointment if it wasn't for me running out of gas on my way to the appointment, causing him to leave early to meet me there {thank you Lyss for saving me in the middle of Gilbert Rd} to get gas into my car after the appointment. I am very grateful that your dad was able to be there or else I probably wouldn't have had those test done or some other questions answered.

I have cried a few tears since hearing the news, but your dad has been so strong and uplifting. He has kept my spirits and hopes high. You will come when the time is right, and it will be the perfect timing. It is also a relief to know on "why" we aren't able to get pregnant narrowed down to this one. Not exactly what I was expecting or wanting to hear, but Heavenly Father knew that I would be able to handle this. With all my previous medical conditions and doctors visits, this is just another one to add to this list! A very exciting road is ahead of us and I cannot wait! You will be worth every doctor visit.

We love you and are so thrilled to start our family with you!

Happy 2011 everyone! I hope everyone has their goals set for the year. I know Mister and I do, and are thrilled and excited for what this year is going to hopefully bring us!

We rang in the New Year with some of our close friends on Catalina Island. It was a first for me spending it away from Az and I might have liked it enough to hopefully make it a new tradition! We spent the day in downtown and went to Peohe's for dinner and waited on the back deck for the fireworks at midnight (which never came might I add...)

Us girls went shopping on New Year's Day and scored on some great stuff at the swap meet, while the boys went golfing. A perfect way to start off 01.01.11.

The stockings are hung, the presents are wrapped, the Mister is sleeping.

Christmas Eve, soo close to Christmas day! I am so giddy with the thought of it.

I literally cannot sleep.

Mister and I did some last minute Christmas shopping, returns, wrapped the last of the presents,

and made Posole soup and home made hot chocolate for the Yeager Christmas Eve party.

It was a very eventful day together. Time which we hadn't have much of together lately.

Every year the Yeager's doing the traditional gift exchange with each other. My father in-law gave

all the couples the world's best pretzels. Pretty sure we have a year supply for the 2 of us. We had soup, hot chocolate and yummy cinnamon rolls. Sat on the front drive way next to a fire. Jumped roped and enjoyed

each other company's that we don't get very often. I love the holidays.

I am so happy with where I am in my life and the road that Mister and I have in front of us. So many

more adventures and memories to make. We have some the world's greatest friends that we hope

to keep forever. We are healthy and grateful for everything we have been given.

Mister and I started a tradition this year with the 2 of us. Open a gift on Christmas Eve, and that gift being Christmas Pajama's {of course} and that we buy them for each other. And I must say it was a success.

.Annual Owens Christmas Party. {2}

I love traditions. Even if they are quirky and silly. One of the best traditions my family has is our family Christmas Party. You see, we always get 3 very very special guest that come and visit us alllll the way from Denmark {we're our ancestors are from}. It's the same every single year and everyone always looks forward to it. This year was a little different, with my parents being out of the country, us 8 kids+spouses had to get everything organized so we could carry on the tradition and still make it special for all 26 grandkids. It was not the same without "Grandma and Grandad" there to be the host/hostess, but we did ok getting things together. We missed my parents so much tonight, it was the first time we had everyone over at the house since last years Christmas Party. Crazy how fast time flew by!

For dinner, we always have posole {spelling??} Mmmm so good!!

Our 1st guest of the evening was the Dancing Doll. In order to get the doll to dance, you must have the Christmas Spirit. What's that you ask? Well, everyone has to be singing and clapping their hands. You see, the Christmas Spirit must have not been in the air tonight, because only my brother Raymond got it to dance without holding onto it. The little kids sure had a fun time trying tho!

Our 2nd guest of the evening was the Dumb Baby. Why is it dumb you ask? Well that's simple, it can't talk! But she is best friend's with Santa Clause and knows what all the little boys and girls are getting for Christmas. Each child gets a turn, or two, to ask the Dumb Baby if they're getting a certain gift. The dumb baby then answers back with nodding her head yes, or no. To see the reaction on my nieces and nephews faces when they get a yes is the best part. {it also helps the mom and dads really know what the kids want for Christmas...wink...wink }

The 3rd, and final guest of the evening was the Christmas Pig. It always brings lots of treats and candy for the kids. Each year there is always at least 1 child that goes running to hide, while freaking out. I mean, you would too if you didn't know what it was! This year, Bronson {who we all thought would run and hide} took one look at the Christmas Pig...then run up to it and started beating it up! Punched him in the face, kicked him in the side and the jumped on his back and continued to punch him! {Bronson is 3}. We were all laughing too hard to stop him and I didn't get a good enough picture of him in action. Soo funny.

Since my Grandma&Grandad were MIA this year, they had sent present for all the grandkids. They drove 3hrs to cross the border so the gifts would get here in time! Almost all 26 grandkids were in the picture. But they ALL loved them and kept them on for the rest of the night!

Chrysha {Chris+Mysha} hosted the Christmas Sweater party this year. It was so much fun! I wish I would have gotten pictures of every couples sweaters. We played tons of games, ate waaaay too much delicious home baked goods {thanks Mysha!}, roasted marshmellows out on the patio and got to spend time with all of our friends, some that we don't get to see very often. I've been on a craft kick lately. Like I was painting for 4hrs yesterday and up until 2am sewing.

{i'm digging these cute little sayings lately...geek alert, i know}

This is so true. Could you imagine having to go through each and every day hating your job/what you have to do on a daily basis. I know getting up at 5:30am Mon-Thurs for work doesn't sound ideal {because it's not} but it's worth it in the end. I love my patients and the office I work for. {if you're looking for braces or invisalign, it's the place to go, srsly}.

I also feel so blessed to have the clients I have with Glitter Toes and to be able to have my license to do so. It's such a blessing to have in my life right now. It's not a job, it's a 100% hobby. If I didn't love it, I wouldn't do it. Simple as that.

I love being a wife. And I love my husband even more so. Yes, work+glitter toes+gym+house wife=sometimes stressful, but totally worth it.

My sis, her hubs and 2 little boys have been living with us the past 2 weeks. It's been such a fun adventure. I wouldn't take back one second of it, even if I could. A learning curb if you may. I love them and they will be missed ever so, but Hawaii will just have to be on our check list of vacays next year. At least twice.

I miss my mom and dad. 6 more months...please come and go ever so quickly. pleeeease!

I have been on such a de-junking mode lately and i.love.it! {more clothes/blog sale coming soon maybe??} I can only imagine what it's going to be like when we move into our own place and how much I will get rid of!

My best and her hubs are moving away from me in exactly 1 month. San Fran be nice to them, and be nice to us when we come visit. Often.

Enough with the jibberish. I finally accepted the fact that I lost the camera {mister lost the other one, so we're even, right??} So we're now on our 3rd Cannon Elph digital camera. Just can't get enough of that little guy. It's on SALE at Costco right might I add. Pictures coming soon-a dashing weekend we have ahead of us!

So I have been on this kick for the last couple of months. Every Sunday I will bake a batch of bread-4 loaves of bread. We usually go through 1 or 2, and then most week's we will take the other 2 to either family or friends. {some of you have already gotten lucky! so those who haven't, be ready because your turn may be next...} Baking bread is so much fun and a ton cheaper than going to Whole Grain or somewhere that bakes their bread daily! So if you own a Bosch and would like to learn how I bake my bread, just ask! Or if any of you would like to go in on the cost with me that would be fun too! We could get together on a Friday or Saturday! Either way, let me know!!

It's missing...my cute little perfect digital elph camera. It's been about a month now and it's no where to be seen. sigh. The last I remember is taking pictures with it in Downtown Mesa. I'm hoping it turns up magically some day. I am not one to misplace or loose things. And to top it off, our Nikon has been shipped out to be fixed (Thank you American Express for covering an additional 1yr warranty after the manufactors warranty has expired...some times it is worth it to pay with a credit card) and we haven't heard word from when it will repaired/or replaced. So until then, blackberry phone pictures will have to do...which aren't very good. So my life in decent quality pictures is not available at the moment. So sorry.

There is so much for me to be grateful for this Holiday season. My husband is on the top of my list. I wouldn't be able to do more than half of the things I do if it wasn't for him. For example, I wouldn't have been able to host the Yeager Thanksgiving at our place if he wasn't by my side and helping me be more organized. After everything was said and done, it wasn't as stressful as I thought it would be. I got all worked up for nothing! But one thing that I didn't do was take pictures of everything, bummer! I guess between being in charge of: decorations, set up, the turkey, home made pies and rolls, the Yeager "Pink Stuff', drinks, stuffing (would LOVE to learn how to make homemade stuffing!!) and having the house cleaned-there has got to be a "get out of jail free" card for not taking pictures-right? If we get to host it again in the future, I am very much more well prepared for it! I actually should take some mental notes and write them down somewhere....

I hope everything had a splendid Thanksgiving and that it was full of Family, Friends and FOOD!!

mmm...love this look.... a tad too long for me.... where did my husband go? who is this guy!?

Mister decided to grow his beard out for halloween this year (if you missed that post, check it out here.), it started the last week of August. It was quite the process, and got real old to snuggle up to. Actually, I take that back...there was hardly any snuggling, nuzzling or cuddling in the month of Oct. I mean, look at that thing!!! You could have hid an entire army in there! Needless to say, it was outta here the morning of October 31st, just in time for church. ahhh...I will admit, I do love week 1-2 of the scruff, so he's keeping that! He hardly looks like the same guy tho I think!

We've been house hunting ever since our early stages of dating. Stopped until we got married. Looked again. Stopped when we found out we could live in my parents house for 18 months to take care of it while they're gone. And now we're looking again. So many decisions: pool/no pool, how much are we wanting to pay per square foot, location, floor plan, how many bedrooms/bath, neighborhood, how much we want to put into a home.
Well, Levi and I don't agree very often on homes we like until this one. It's in the perfect location, awesome ward, great size home, amazing layout, everything about it is perfection. So we put an offer down on it and after we sat down with all the numbers of closing costs, down payments, utilities, our monthly bills, etc. I about fainted! I think it is just a little more than I am wanting to do right now. If we do get this house sooner than later, all of our savings will go towards it, we will have a mortgage, and 2 sets of utilities until June. I am getting just a tid bit nervous. We will be house broke and all of the things I have imagined of doing to our future home will have to wait. I am not sure I am ready for this! We moved into my parents house a year ago to help us get ahead (and i am sooo thankful for that!) and if we get a home 8 months before they get home, that is a lot of money we could have saved!! And we have to put everything into perspective on 1 income for if/when we have babies.
Are we ready for this? I know it's something we can afford, but are we living too outside our means?

We had the best the Halloween weekend. Probably the best Halloween ever actually!

We started the weekend off by going to a costume party hosted by some friends of mine from High

School. Bless Levi's heart, he knew none them but of course all of us wives know each other's husbands and feel like we're all BFF because of our blogs!But knowing the outgoing and super friendly guy Levi is, he had no problem getting to know everyone there. Thanks again girls for such a fun night!!

Later that night we met up with Lyss and Owen to go to the AZ Scream Park Haunted Houses. I was

pretty stoked to go because I had never been to a Haunted House before. And let me tell you...it was an

experience I will never forget and cannot wait to go next year! Lyss had told one of the scary workers

my name and he literally followed me through the entire thing telling me I was his Birthday Present, and

yes he scared me every time he popped out of a corner and through the wall. I didn't know how to react

and let's just say I kept everyone in our group entertained with my scream, horror, laugh. No joke. And yes, I ran like a like a little girl when the guy's came at me with the chain saw's.

End of Story.

Saturday we hosted a Murder Mystery Dinner at our friends house out in Queen Creek. It was a Trailer Park theme and everyone totally dressed the part! {for those of you who have never been to to Murder Mystery Dinner, I highly suggest you get one going! So much fun and a lot easier to put together than I thought it would be. Which meant a lot less stress on me!} Thank you Chris and Mysha for letting us host it at your gorgeous new home, looking forward to many more gathering's there I am sure!

The newlyweds, Shane and Shari Trader!

Well, they finally got hitched! After almost 2 years of dating, they finally said "I do"!

They got married at the perfect time, with the lightest sprinkle the entire ceremony and with

a rainbow in the sky. We were so happy to be there to support our friends!

Levi has known Shane for about 5yrs. They remind me of little boys when they get together. Shane was

one of Levi's first friends that I met when we starting dating, and then we met Shari when

For our wedding, 19 months ago..., our dear friends parents gave us

a weekend in one of their time shares as our wedding gift. SUCH a

great gift!! We had the option to choose from 4 different locations

and went with Sedona. It was the perfect getaway, at the perfect time.

The weather was gorgeous and the company was the best.

Once we had gotten there we had realized we had forgotten our

"bathroom bag" and had to go to the nearest store to re-load on

the necessities -no make up or hair product. Oh well!

There went $30 we weren't expecting to spend...

But we made it even when Mister got his steak dinner for free

the following night. We also left our cell phone charges at home,

best mistake ever. We got to be US with no distractions. perfection.

did a lot of driving through the gorgeous trees

had the best home made ice cream!

and ate at cute little bakery's

Love what you love and wrap yourself around it.

I was thinking to myself today of the things I really love and love doing.

Mister is obviously, without a doubt on the very top of that list.

Another, my Heavenly Father. He's a good man and so forgiving.

I don't think I take advantage of him enough. I can do better.

And as I said my prayers tonight, I had the want, that crave of being better.

Not only to Him, but to my Mister, my friends, my family and myself.

Him: I need to do a better job at attending the temple on a more regular basis and saying

my prayers and reading my scriptures nightly and not making up excuses.

There should never be an excuse good enough to skip those 3 things.

Mister: He is my King, my Knight and Shinning Armor. He deserves the best and

everything I have to give. I get stressed sometimes, ok a lot, and he doesn't deserve it.

I keep trying to make it a goal to put my phone away once I get home from working

all day, but I always find an excuse to keep it out. I need to do better at putting it away

and leaving it there. The time I have with him is so short on the week nights and I want

to soak it all up with him and not have any outside distractions.

So to my friends, family and clients: you may not hear from me until later in the evening

when Mister is doing his homework. I need to make the time more special and

precious with him. Thank you for understanding.

Friends: I like to consider myself lucky with the friends that I have. The friends

who have never given up on me, the ones who we can go months without seeing

and it is always the same, no matter where we are at in our lives. The friends that I

have made this year that have become some of my best friends. (even if it the first time we

hung out/met and I broke my wrist and was a bum for the remainder of the weekend).

The friends that let us stay with them when visiting out of town. The friends

who like to go on vacations with us. The friends that I have had since Preschool and

Elementary. I am truly blessed to have the friends that I have and will forever love you all.

Clients: A big, huge, Thank You from the bottom of my heart for being you. Thank you

for letting me take that 15-20min to Glitz and Glamor your toes. Thank you for making it

possible for Mister and I to travel, because if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't

be able to go, see and so the things we do. I am so grateful and lucky to have this

at this time of my life. Words can't express enough how much I appreciate you all.

And the best part about it, I love what I do and I love being able to meet new girls

every single week, from young to old. I love it because of you.

Family: Being the youngest of 8 is a lot to handle. But it is worth every second. For

the most part, all 8 siblings+spouses get along AND we all live 40min from each other.

The relationships I have built with my siblings and inlaws as strengthened so much since I

have been married and I love it. I love my parents and all that they do for me.

They have been gone 9 months and we as a family don't get together as often as we use

to, I look forward to them returning and having everyone together more often.

I am lucky to have such rad inlaws on the Yeager side as well. I wish we got

together more often, but everyone has their crazy-busy schedules. Someday soon,

I hope, that will change and we will get together more often.

Me: I use to be the best journal writer. Growing up I wrote in it daily. It was my

go-to vent book and my book that I got to be me. I didn't have to worry

about impressing anyone and those 30min every night were my favorite. I

need to start writing again. It's something more personal than a blog.

Something that I can be me through and through. I also want to find that

"nitch" as Mister and I like to call it. Mister has golf and I have, well...I

am still not sure. But I am working on it daily to get there! (maybe my nitch

will be being a mother. Something I am very much so looking forward to.

Maybe/hopefully next year, if the time is right.)

This was my first post ever that I just wrote what I has been on my mind. I know it may be boring

and I promise it won't happen often. It's nice every once in a while to get it all out on the table

and just say what your feeling and what you're grateful for.

Now I have to be up in 5 hrs to go to work, so I will leave it at that.

I feel so blessed and fortunate to be traveling with my Mister.

Not many couples get this opportunity to do so before having babies

and I am one lucky girl getting to do so!

September was one of our craziest travel months yet.

From Cali to New York to Vegas.

New York City was def the highlight of it all. Since neither of us had ever

experienced the city, we were in awww all 4 days.

The tall buildings, old and new, had me at hello. It was everything I had ever dreamed of.

And people weren't joking when they say the city never sleeps. Literally.

Neither did we for that matter!

we did more sight seeing and went back to central park since that was my favorite place

out of the entire trip. i felt like i was living a dream or playing a part in a movie

being there. oh and yes, that is my first "Levi's" shirt. i have always wanted one

ever since i met him and we found the perfect one while out there!

I have decided to start sharing my secrets of great finds

.:Bacon & Eggs Over Asparagus:.

hold the bacon and add avocado!

Makes: 4 Main-Delish Servings
245 Calories per serving

What You Will Need:
8 Slice of Bacon-if you wish
1lb asparagus spears, trimmed
1/2 tsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped
8 large eggs
3 Tbsp packed fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped
1 Tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Avocado

1. Preheat oven to 475 degree's. (If using bacon) take a 18x12 pan and arrange bacon slice in single layer. Roast 8-9minutes or until brown and crisp. Transfer to paper towel and discard excess bacon fat.
2. {If you didn't use bacon, spray pan with cooking spray/olive oil} Add asparagus to pan in single layer. Arrange in tight single layer, sprinkle thyme and 1/4tsp pepper on asparagus. Roast 8-10 minutes or until asparagus is tender and browned.
3. Carefully crack eggs, without breaking yolks, directly onto asparagus spears. Carefully return pan to oven and roast 5-6 minutes or until whites are just set and yolks are still runny. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, parsley and dill.

Slice up avocado (if desired) and transfer to serving plates.
Total Time: 30minutes

Total Time: 30min. Makes: 12 pancakes/4 servings.

You Will Need:

*2 Ripe peaches

*1/2 pint Raspberries

*1 Tbsp. Sugar

*1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour

*1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour

*1/2 Cup Quick-Cooking Oats (uncooked)

*2 tsp. Baking Powder

*1/2 tsp. Salt

*1 1/4 Cups Fat-Free (skim) Milk

*1 Large Egg

*1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil

1. In medium bowl, combine peaches, raspberries and sugar. Stir to coat; set fruit mixture aside. 2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine flours, oats, baking powder and salt-stir. Add milk, egg and oil-stir until flour mixture is lumpy.

3. Spray non stick skillet with cooking spray, heat on medium for 1 minute. Pour Batter by the 1/4 cups full onto skillet, making 4 pancakes at a time. Cook until tops are bubbly and edges look dry and flip until undersides are golden to platter. Cover and keep warm as you make the remainder of batter.

Delish Tip: Instead of drowing your pancakes in syrup (and adding the extra calories and sugar that we all don't really need!) top them with fruit to sweeten each bite more healthfully.

Total Time: 30min

Makes 4 Main-Dish Servings

375 Calories Per Serving

What You Will Need:

4 cups Ripe Tomatoes, chopped

1/2 cup Packed Fresh Basil Leaves, chopped

3 Tbsp. Olive Oil

1/4 tsp. Freshly Grated Lemon Peel

Salt & Pepper

1 Bag (18oz) Cheese Ravioli

1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese

1. In a large bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, basil, olive oil, lemon zest, and dash of salt & pepper. Let stand at room temperature at least 15 minutes or up to 30 minutes to blend flavors.

2. Cook ravioli as directed.

3. Add hot pasta to sauce and toss to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to serve.

August 23rd, 2008

The day that changed my life forever.

I met my Levi at a pool party in Gilbert, Az.

To celebrate our "2yr" anniversary from when we first met

(and then maybe kissed the day after...)

I surprised him with a getaway to this place

and stayed in this fancy studio room

I had the car packed and ready to go. He had no idea that when we left Friday afternoon at 3pm to go run some "errands",

that we wouldn't return until the following day at 1pm. heeheehee

Once checked in We went and grabbed an early dinner at RA-happy hour of course, and ordered way too much, so found other ways to finish it. Went to Last Chance and found some steals, jammed out to our favorite tunes with the window's down to enjoy the fabulous weekend weather, had Sugar Bowl for dessert and rushed into the nearest store to buy a deck of cards and Monster's for some late night games of War, that Levi was soo confident that he would whoop my bootie at.

Our bodies love us and woke us up at 6:30 the next morning. We were WIDE awake.

So we went and grabbed breakfast at a fun little place near Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Levi had the most delicious cinnamon french toast and I indulged in on

lemon poppyseed muffin and breakfast shake.

We got back to our hotel and before we went to catch some sun rays, I took a lovely bubble bath

and we watched Transformers.

It was a perfect escape and we enjoyed each other's company even more so.

Thank you Levi for flirting with me at the Pool Party 2 years ago and getting my number

at Rocky's Farwell the next day! I love you more and more every day.

My girlfriend Lindsey Hansen married her best friend today.

I am so happy for the 2 of them, they make a perfect team together!

Their reception was gorgeous.

Is anyone else jealous of her long luscious locks??

We had her bachelorette party last weekend.

Played the classic interview video game that had Scott answering questions

and if Linz didn't answer it right, she had to put a piece of bubble gum in her mouth.

Needless to say she had about 8 in there...bless her heart!

And jump WE did!!!

we just didn't get a picture of me...but I jumped off it twice!

We got invited with 16 other's to go to Fossil Springs.

I am not going to lie, I was some what dreading the 7 mile hike...until I found out there was another route that was only 2 miles ROUND TRIP!!

Cha-Ching! Count me in! I'll do that any day of the week!

Ok so maybe it was basically a nature walk, no hiking really.

There was families with their toddlers! It is such a fun DAY activity.

I plan on doing this with our children.

There was this Natural Spring that Levi had found.

I had never seen one before, it was really cool to see how the water just comes up like that!

Of course he had to get in and test it out!

You can see how blue the water was too right where it was coming up!!!

He had convinced some of the other boys that were with us to get in as well and to

also try out his slide.

They took a huge tree branch and used it as the "slide test dummy"

to see how deep it was.

No one was hurt while doing it.

If anyone is interested in going, Levi and I will gladly go with!

Driving a truck is ideal, bring some sunscreen and a light lunch/snacks and we're good to go!!

It's mandatory that you stop for Home Made Ice Cream and Mexican Food on the way home.

Cibo hold a very special place in mine and Levi's heart.

This is where we had our 1st Real Date almost 2 years ago.

It's located in down town Phx and is ever so yummy.
