.Tried Something New.

I went Red. It was only for 2 weeks, but I did it. I had a love/hate relationship with it however. Levi loved it, i actually did it for him and surprised him in Vegas when i flew in. It was so hard for me to get ready, to find colors that I felt comfortable in. And my blonde hair came through so quick. I would probably need a touch up every 2 weeks to keep it up. I look back at pictures and miss it. Maybe since now that I am brunette (yes, the blonde came and went in a couple of months, my hair just couldn't handle it) going back red someday will be easier. We will see...

It was just time. 

Levi met me as blonde and it's been 2 years since I was one.

Going back to the nitty gritty.

I do have a confession tho...I miss the brunette, but being back blonde has been fun.

I love that I am the most indecisive about big things, and lets be honest, your hair is a BIG thing!

.Dork Alert.

When is the last time you logged onto your cell phone account online and viewed the old pictures that you some how saved from 5+ years ago? Well if you haven't done it in awhile, you might want to go check them out. It gave me a pretty good little giggle. Pictures from nieces and nephews before they were teenagers...sigh...college days, old boyfriends, girlfriends that I haven't seen in years who are all now married with children, and old pictures of my cute, toned, tight little body that I miss dearly. But to top it off, some awesome pictures of me being a dork and geek beyond belief.

I will share only 1, because the others are just way to embarrassing. Sorry folks.

My very first Orthodontist Assistant Job 4 1/2 years ago.

.A Letter.

Love what you love and wrap yourself around it.

I was thinking to myself today of the things I really love and love doing.

Mister is obviously, without a doubt on the very top of that list.

Another, my Heavenly Father. He's a good man and so forgiving.

I don't think I take advantage of him enough. I can do better.

And as I said my prayers tonight, I had the want, that crave of being better.

Not only to Him, but to my Mister, my friends, my family and myself.

Him: I need to do a better job at attending the temple on a more regular basis and saying 

my prayers and reading my scriptures nightly and not making up excuses.

There should never be an excuse good enough to skip those 3 things.

Mister: He is my King, my Knight and Shinning Armor. He deserves the best and

everything I have to give. I get stressed sometimes, ok a lot, and he doesn't deserve it.

I keep trying to make it a goal to put my phone away once I get home from working 

all day, but I always find an excuse to keep it out. I need to do better at putting it away 

and leaving it there. The time I have with him is so short on the week nights and I want

to soak it all up with him and not have any outside distractions. 

So to my friends, family and clients: you may not hear from me until later in the evening

when Mister is doing his homework. I need to make the time more special and

precious with him. Thank you for understanding. 

Friends: I like to consider myself lucky with the friends that I have. The friends

who have never given up on me, the ones who we can go months without seeing

and it is always the same, no matter where we are at in our lives. The friends that I 

have made this year that have become some of my best friends. (even if it the first time we  

hung out/met and I broke my wrist and was a bum for the remainder of the weekend). 

The friends that let us stay with them when visiting out of town. The friends

who like to go on vacations with us. The friends that I have had since Preschool and

Elementary. I am truly blessed to have the friends that I have and will forever love you all.

Clients: A big, huge, Thank You from the bottom of my heart for being you. Thank you 

for letting me take that 15-20min to Glitz and Glamor your toes. Thank you for making it

possible for Mister and I to travel, because if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't

be able to go, see and so the things we do. I am so grateful and lucky to have this 

at this time of my life. Words can't express enough how much I appreciate you all.

 And the best part about it, I love what I do and I love being able to meet new girls

every single week, from young to old. I love it  because of you.

Family: Being the youngest of 8 is a lot to handle. But it is worth every second. For

the most part, all 8 siblings+spouses get along AND we all live 40min from each other.

The relationships I have built with my siblings and inlaws as strengthened so much since I 

have been married and I love it. I love my parents and all that they do for me.

They have been gone 9 months and we as a family don't get together as often as we use

to, I look forward to them returning and having everyone together more often.

I am lucky to have such rad inlaws on the Yeager side as well. I wish we got

together more often, but everyone has their crazy-busy schedules. Someday soon, 

I hope, that will change and we will get together more often.

Me: I use to be the best journal writer. Growing up I wrote in it daily. It was my 

go-to vent book and my book that I got to be me. I didn't have to worry 

about impressing anyone and those 30min every night were my favorite. I

need to start writing again. It's something more personal than a blog.

Something that I can be me through and through. I also want to find that 

"nitch" as Mister and I like to call it. Mister has golf and I have, well...I 

am still not sure. But I am working on it daily to get there! (maybe my nitch

will be being a mother. Something I am very much so looking forward to. 

Maybe/hopefully next year, if the time is right.)

This was my first post ever that I just wrote what I has been on my mind. I know it may be boring

and I promise it won't happen often. It's nice every once in a while to get it all out on the table

and just say what your feeling and what you're grateful for. 

Now I have to be up in 5 hrs to go to work, so I will leave it at that.

.My Birthday Present from Pied Piper.

A few weeks ago my hubs was looking at Pied Piper and noticed that she was doing 1 last photo shoot before she headed back to England. So what did he do? He instantly emailed her, wrote a cute little message to her about me (i need to get that email from the hubs...) and paid her via pay pal.

Next, he took me shopping for a new outfit for the shoot. We went into J.Crew and had the personal shopper literally dress me. I literally felt and looked like I stepped right out of the J.Crew spring catalogue. Best feeling in the world.

I had Hills and Court do my hair and make up. Well done ladies, you almost exceed my expectations and want to hire you both as my weekend(s) stylists.

Pictures wouldn't get back to us for about 3-4 weeks. And today, Pied Piper out did herself! She posted 3 pictures of me just because it's my BiRtHdAy!! Thank you Linds, best most unexpected present ever. You're work is unreal and I had so much fun working with you. You truly made me feel like a million bucks while shooting with you! I highly suggest you all go check her out.

.New Hair Do.

2 weeks ago I went to my girl {H} to get my hairs some much needed update. Meaning, going brunette again/touching up the color   (missing my blonde...but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do to get my hair long!!)   

with a little bit of spice/peek-a-boo blonde chunks under here...and there...

Well when it came to trim off the spit ends, I threw out the idea of cutting bangs and well...let's just say there was no convincing her!   (I usually let her do what she thinks will look best, and I trust her 100%)

I needed some funk. I was starting to get that itch and boy am I glad I let her do her thang!!

.My Top 10 Love List.

#1: Zinnia Flowers.

I love how puffy they look. And the colors of them are to die for.

#2:Last Chance.

Anyone who knows me, knows I live at the place and 80% of my closet is from there.

I have been saving my pennies to go, and waiting for you to call to go with me.

there are a few of you who I know have been itching to go...you know who you are...

#3: Working Out.

I love that "I'm about the throw up" feeling at the gym, because you know you just kicked your butt and you're going to be feeling it the next day.

Oh and I want her bod...please and thank you.

#4: Surprises from my Hubs.

You know, like the ones that make your jaw drop or smile ear to ear...ya those.

He's been doing that a lot lately. Just when I think a surprises couldn't be better than the one from before, he goes and completely out does himself! love ya babe.

#5: Organized Jewelry and Closets.

Really, does it get better than this? I am an organized person, but with not much room to spare at the moment, the thought of possibly having this some day warms my heart.

#7: Candle Light.

Dinner. Baths. Massages. etc.

It always sets the best mood.

#8: Dark Chocolate.

Latest crave of mine. Just a solid piece, no caramel or nuts, just that thank you very much.

#9: Mesa's Frozen Yogurt.

Usually we have just about $3 and some change from out weekly date night money to go there. It's just so tastey.

#10: Country Style Homes.

This is a dream. Everything about it.

I Am Turning Into An Old Woman!

Who do YOU know that is 23...

And already on their 2nd Hip surgery!?

Well...if you didn't know anyone, now you do!!!

I had surgery last Thursday. The Doctor had to dislocate my hip

 (while I was under of course)

and shave down the "ball" of my hip socket. The ball and socket 

were rubbing on each other, causing pain that I cannot describe.

I am on crutches for 6 Weeks, no swimming for 2 Weeks. Yes, 

NO SWIMMING for 2 Weeks and no lake or river trips for 3 Months. 

What is a girl to do in this heat??

Oh and don't worry, my Doctor put me to work only 20hrs after surgery.

PT for 4 Weeks. And that lovely legging I am wearing...

IT COMES OFF TONIGHT!!!! 

I don't think I can go another sleepless night with it on.
