.One Year Older and Wiser Too.

My main Man is 30!!!!! And boy does it look good on him! I love him so much. He really is my right hand, my better half, the one who helps calm me when I stress out for no reason. And he is just darn right funny and the sexiest man I know!
We had a fabulous day of celebrations. Breakfast. Shopping. Surprise Golf Day with his Brothers. And a not so great surprise Birthday BBQ party-sorry babe! We will do Flow Ryder some day soon, I promise!!

30 Things

1. He could eat donuts everyday
2. He would play golf everyday if time and money would allow him
3. He can live without his phone-maybe used it twice when we where in Hawaii for 10 days.
4. Has an obsession with watches

6. He plays on a softball league year round
7. He is more in love with Last Chance than I am

I really lucked out marrying such an amazing guy. He knows just how to push my buttons and make me laugh at my craziness minutes later. I grow from him every day. We aren't perfect by any means, but we fit each other so well. Nothing stresses him out and it drives me nuts, because the smallest things make me go crazy. He keeps me so grounded and reminds me everyday to just breathe. I love this man so much and can't wait to spend eternity with him.

.What I Want To Be When I Grow Up.

Where did this number think it came from? 25, ME?...really? Weird...I am officially a Grown Up.

What I thought I would have accomplished by this age: Had a baby or be pregnant, traveled to England/Europe (that has been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl), been a YW leader long enough to go to Girls Camp with them, and learn how to sew drapes, pillows, skirts, etc...sigh...

But even tho the above things have not happened-yet-I still have time. I have accomplished so much and I really am grateful for everything that I do have. I am in a good place in my life and feel at peace with the knowledge that everything will happen at the right time.

What I would life to accomplish by the age 26: Complete a sprint triathlon, sew my own drapes, pillows and chair covers for my house, make my own skirts, continue the tasks needed to have a baby, and have trip planned or have gone a trip to England/Europe/Greece/ANYWHERE over there! All seem pretty do-able to me, right?

Ok lets get to the good stuff, what I did to celebrate my new old age!
San Fransico
My bestfriend Lyss and her husband live out there and were ever so kind to let Levi and I come crash with them for the weekend. It was the best birthday, year.to.date. It really was perfect! Homemade Birthday Breakfast. Gifts from the lover and bestie. Lots of text/FB lovin. A day well spent in The City. Getting my first and last rosary from a Street Bum. Gorging ourselves with many tastey treats all day long. People watching. Shopping. Trolley Riding. Dancing. And to top it off, Lyss gave Levi and I a night in a Hotel-my personal fav. Her and Owen stayed there as well so we could continue our city adventures the next day. (thank you iPhone for being so handy and documenting everything)

(about a month prior to my birthday, we had a little 12 hour layover in SF where we did a lot of first time Must Do's. I would have to say that has been my favorite layover I have ever had)

Dear 25, please be good to me!!!

.Last Year of the Twenties.

Levi is 29!!!!!
And what did we do to celebrate....
Well going on a Vaca of course!
To Cali/Huntington Beach.

The 1st day we were there we did some shopping at Fashion Island and got Sprinkles Cupcakes.

Had lunch with Alexa and Jack at this amazing Mexican place.

And did a little long boarding.

For dinner we went to our #1 favorite of all times BBQ joint.
Levi and I discovered this place when we were in Cali last year. And I am not the biggest fan of BBQ, but this place has me drooling every time I think of it!

Levi went golfing with Darryn morning of his birthday. Alexa, Jack and I  did some strolling and got Alexa' toes glitter-fied by yours truly.
Once Levi and Darryn returned home, Levi and I went down to the Pier and did some people watching.

We caught free t-shirts, got free energy drinks and Levi scored on an amazing face massage!!

And what is a Birthday without an Apple Pie Apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory!?

Then we went out to dinner at Cheesecake Factory.
The Red Velvet Cheesecake was worth the 1500 calories!!!

We got back to the Lane's resident and waited for them to get home for the BIG SURPRISE that Levi had no idea was coming his way.
You see, Levi and I are sneeks and I thought for sure he would looked through my suitcase or somewhere to find his birthday presents. I didn't even talk to his brothers about what I was getting him because they would have for sure told him.
So finally at 11:45 at night Levi got his BIG SURPRISE!!

He hasn't owned a game system since he was like 10! So I thought, ehh why not....

The last day we were there we took it easy since we were leaving later that evening.

Sugar Shack for breakfast-of course.

Walked down the Pier, again.

Ate the most delicious cheeseburgers and french fries right across from the beach.

The wonderful and amazing Lane's!!!
Alexa so stinkin beautiful and skinny. Gorgeous.

i lOVE us

side note: yes, levi and i DID get in the 50 degree freezing ocean water!
why?
who knows why...as long as i didn't get my hair wet, i was goin in.
&
how?
i just tried not thinking about how cold it really was...
and then a wave took me down. bad, really bad.

Our last stop on the way out of town was at this delicious Donut Shop. Really, they're amazing.

now back to our lovely diet and working out schedule's.
no donuts, energy drinks, mexican food, pancakes, caramel apples, cheeseburgers, bbq, etc.
i am already having with drawls!!!!

.twenty four.

Another year...here goes nothing!
I am excited to be 24, I have a good feeling that a lot is going to happen this year.
As I looked back at all of the pictures and memories from the past 365 days, it made me think that I really am living my life to the fullest. I could do things to make it better and that is what I plan on focusing on doing this go around. Thank you to all my wonderful family and friends who have always been there for me, and especially my husband who has helped me become who I am. I wouldn't be the girl I am without. You are everything to me and I am the luckiest girl in the world to call you mine.

We headed to California for my birthday this year!
The night before my birthday, we went to dinner at Tia Rosa's with some of our friends.
Thank you all who were able to be there!
The Girls
Sarah left before we took pictures.

Us.
The difference in 365 days
Similarities:
Me: style of shoes, pants, and belt.
Levi: same watch and left hand placement.
Differences:
Me: hair color and bangs.
Levi: 30pds lighter now.

On my birthday morning, we woke up and Levi surprised me some gifts that I was very excited about. A new dress, necklace, earrings, belt and cardigan. Thanks love!
After getting ready and bags packed, we headed to my/our favorite breakfast spot. Cracker Barrel.
Then I insisted we make a stop at Last Chance. I mean, what would my birthday be without stopping there!?
And since we were in the neighborhood-sorta-we went to Sprinkles. Great road trip treat!
We got into Huntington at 7pm. Our amazing friends Alexa and Darryn let us stay with them for the weekend. Thank You!!! Pretty sure we'll be back staying with them soon!

We went to Fred's Mexican Cafe&Cantina for dinner and sat outside so we could watch the Sunset.
It was a perfect way to end my birthday.

Friday: Six Flags.
First stop-X2!
The weather was perfect and the lines weren't bad at all!

Saturday we did a few Goodwill stops-of course-4 to be exact. California Goodwills have the best finds. We were both in heaven.
We met up and played with Alexa, Darryn and their son Jack and played with them the rest of the day.
I don't know about the rest of you, but we love people watching, and the beach had some of the best I had seen in a really long time.
We went to the Sugar Shack for breakfast 2 of the mornings. And I must say, their Biscuits and Gravy are exceptional! They taste exactly like my moms. Soooo good! But, they only serve them on Sat&Sun.

Here's to another 365 days and fun, love, and adventures!!!
