.Valley Ho.

August 23rd, 2008
The day that changed my life forever.
I met my Levi at a pool party in Gilbert, Az.
To celebrate our "2yr" anniversary from when we first met
(and then maybe kissed the day after...)
I surprised him with a getaway to this place
and stayed in this fancy studio room

I had the car packed and ready to go. He had no idea that when we left Friday afternoon at 3pm to go run some "errands",
that we wouldn't return until the following day at 1pm. heeheehee
Once checked in We went and grabbed an early dinner at RA-happy hour of course, and ordered way too much, so found other ways to finish it. Went to Last Chance and found some steals, jammed out to our favorite tunes with the window's down to enjoy the fabulous weekend weather, had Sugar Bowl for dessert and rushed into the nearest store to buy a deck of cards and Monster's for some late night games of War, that Levi was soo confident that he would whoop my bootie at
Our bodies love us and woke us up at 6:30 the next morning. We were WIDE awake.
So we went and grabbed breakfast at a fun little place near Scottsdale Fashion Square.
Levi had the most delicious cinnamon french toast and I indulged in on
lemon poppyseed muffin and breakfast shake.
We got back to our hotel and before we went to catch some sun rays, I took a lovely bubble bath
and we watched Transformers.
It was a perfect escape and we enjoyed each other's company even more so.
Thank you Levi for flirting with me at the Pool Party 2 years ago and getting my number
at Rocky's Farwell the next day! I love you more and more every day.
Xoxo

.Tuscany Villa.

A couple weeks ago, Levi and I got invited to stay in a Villa up in Sedona with 2 of my sisters and their husbands. Being an AZ native, I can't believe it took me 24yrs to finally go there! It is beyond gorgeous. I hope Levi and I can go back soon and stay a little longer than 12 hours so we can enjoy the small town shops, food and some hiking.
Once we got up there around 730, just as the sun was setting. So pretty! We stayed basically on a golf course. There were maybe 20 Villa's total surrounding the area. Pictures, words and description don't do justice how amazing this place really was. Levi seriously contemplated not waking up with me at 530 the next morning to drive back to Mesa with me, just so he could stay and golf with our brother in-law's.
I would have too...
The entry way into the Villa was like we were in a movie. And when I think about our dream home, these pictures are what pop into my head.
This was our room. Since we showed up last, we got last picks. Last picks wasn't so bad!
Outside our room
The Master Bath.
Has anyone else dreamed of sitting in a tub like this, full of bubbles?
Reminds me of the Note Book.
This is the inside of the Villa, view from the back patio. The opening right here has sliding window doors.
Mmmm to have the cool breeze blowing through your house all night long...

The Master Bedroom. It's own "privacy hang out cushion spot". Oh and don't worry, the master bath also has an Out Door shower. Completely private of course. Another dream of mine...

Since our trip to Sedona was short and sweet, we decided to stay in for the evening. Our brother-in-law  Rick is the master when it comes to grilling steak and shrimp. Mmm...and Hills and Michelle worked their magic with the wedge salads and boiled corn. Levi and I showed up just in time to help set the table basically.
Hot Tub Time!

Driving Home at 5:30 am so I could make it in time to help out with a fundraiser.

.Puddle Jumpin.

Arizona Monsoon weather is the best. It may have taken a little longer to get here this year, but it has been worth every minute of the wait.
On the first night when it was down pouring, Levi and I decided to go on a walk to the corner store and get us a treat. I got all giddy because the last time we played in the rain together is when we met almost 2 yrs ago (we missed out of all the summer fun last year bc I was on crutches, so we're making up for lost time x2!!). Levi had a black Chevy and we drove down into a park in Gilbert off of Higley, where there was no way you could see anyone down in there unless you were standing on top of the hill. There, I received my 1st real rain kiss and we danced in the rain. (cheesy I know, but I love us).
